The proposals are expected to follow the timeline set out below:

• Public Consultation – March/ April 2024

• Submission of planning application – Late April 2024

​

• Determination of application - Summer 2024

​

• Discharge of planning conditions prior to commencing development – late 2024

​

The comments from this consultation will then be taken on board alongside pre-application feedback from the Council and other statutory consultees to inform the final scheme.

​

This will be supplemented by a number of technical reports being prepared by Lancet’s consultant team to confirm that the proposals are acceptable in respect of highways, drainage, ecology, noise etc.

​

The application will then be submitted to the local planning authority, and once validated, will undergo further consultation, with the Council inviting comments from the public and statutory consultees.

​

The determination period for this application is 13 weeks, after which Lancet can start on site and begin delivering these much needed homes.
